How you can Sell Your Collectible figurines

If you have a figurine collection that has grown beyond what you expected it to be, you might be considering selling all or part of your collection. Figurines can make a plain fireplace mantel, shelf, coffee table or windowsill beautiful. If there are too many, however, it can make the room look cluttered and unorganized. If you are ready to sell your figurines, here are some helpful tips.

First of all, you need to decide how many of your figurines you are going to sell. Will you sell selling an entire collection? Do you want to sell only a few? If you have a high number of figurines to sell, you may want to group them by theme, size, or brand. This way you can better advertise your figurines, because offering a selection can attract buyers. This is also good because someone might be interested in a particular type of figurine that you seem to have a lot of.

If you only have a few to sell, that is fine. You will want to highlight the unique features of each one when you advertise.

After you have determined which figurines you will sell, you need to determine their value. If you have older figurines, antique figurines, or limited edition collectible figurines, you may be able to price them a little bit higher than what you paid for them. Overtime, these figurines will increase in value. Study the market for appropriate pricing of your figurines, especially antique figurines. You may be able to make a profit.

As part of determining the value of your figurines, you need to examine each one for damage. You may want to consider a reduction in price for any figurines that have been cracked or otherwise damaged. Be sure to note anything like this when selling.

Finally, you are ready to sell. The easiest way to reach a lot of potential buyers for your figurines is to post them on the internet. There are a few websites that buy and sell figurines that you may be able to use, or you can create your own website to sell them. The other option is to find a local figurine shop that will buy them.

Remember, make sure that all of your figurines are cleaned and polished. If you are selling online, make sure that your photographs are clear, and show different angles of the figurines. Take good care of them all the way until they are sold.
